The Eye of Ender is an item that can be used to find a stronghold and a portal to Ender. To start the Eye of Ender, you need to sel ect it in the inventory and right-click. The eye will fly upward, emitting purple sparks, towards the nearest portal to Ender. After hovering in the air, the Eye of Ender drops out and can be thrown up again. Sometimes it can disappear. In 12 blocks fr om the portal, the eye will hover and go down to the portal.
