Chiseled Bookshelf

In the snapshot 22w46a, the developers changed the mechanics of interaction with the chiseled bookshelf. Now you can put and remove books from the slot that the game cursor is aimed at.

Chiseled bookshelf can be used to create various mechanisms. With the help of a comparator from a chiseled bookshelf, you can get a redstone signal, the strength of which is directly proportional to the number of books on the shelf. And it does not matter what kind of books the shelf is filled with.

With the help of chiseled bookshelf, it is impossible to strengthen the enchantment table, no matter how many of them are standing around the table.

The hopper and dispenser allow you to ins ert and remove books from the bookshelf. Items are extracted from the first cell in which there is an item that can fit in hopper, and inserted in to the first empty cell of the hopper. Dispensers behave similarly when installing books on a bookshelf.
